I know med school is tough to get into and all, but...
If your 'in state' applying as an undergrad it's easyer to get accepted than if your an out of state. Does this principal apply to med school as well; will I stand a better chance at being admited to my state university for med school?

Usually in state medical schools give preference to in state applicants. Some medical schools are extremely difficult to get accepted to if you are an out of state applicant.

University of Massachusetts, for example, will >only< accept state residents!

University of New England, where I attend, gives preference to residents of the New England states.

Of course, some states will accept a larger amount of out-of-state residents, though.

Good luck, in- or out-of-state!
