hey everyone.i was just googling for med school requirements and found abt this website.i have a question for all the visitors on this website.i am currently in my 2nd yr of undergrad studies.i had taken a full 100% course load this semester.but in one of the courses my mark is really low.its really pulling down my semester gpa.if i drop this course now,i wont b able to replace it with anything so i will have only a 80% course load this semester.i was wondering is maintaning a high gpa more important,or maintaining the course load more imp?i wud be really thankfull to all those ppl who can give me some advice on this issue.
I have never heard course load makes any difference. If you have an option to drop a course and not have it show up on your transcript - I think you would be much better off doing that as opposed to having the bad grade show up on your report card.
Again, my standard disclaimer is that I am not an admission's expert - merely someone who went through the process.
