am a medical student from india, in my final yr. i plan to do an MPH before i start my residency. i am particularly interested in doing my MD in psychiatrywhat kind of subjects in MPH should i go for.. do you think health promotion or behavioural health is good enough or should i go foe what img's generally go for..epi/ biostats...

Honestly, you should do whatever interests you most. The fact that you have an MPH (regardless of what its in) will make you more appealing to residency programs. You can count on being asked why you did the MPH program that you end up chosing and what research, etc. you did while getting your MPH. You will be better able to explain your choice if you chose it for you not for a residency program.
