Iam looking into nursing school and am confused with all the programs available. I want to be an RN - what's the difference between an Associates of Applied Sciences and Bachelors degrees? Which is better?
Any info will help - thanks, DeAnna

Nursing degrees are outside of my general field of knowledge. However, I would guess that an Associates for Applied Sciences, being an associates degree, is from a 2 year college. A bachelors of science in nursing (BSN) would be a 4 year program. It appears you can be a "registered nurse" (RN) with a degree from either program. However, if you want to advance to a masters program in nursing or other graduate program in nursing, you'd need to have your BSN.
